What do you get when you combine a party with 30 grandkids searching for many Easter eggs, five cute polo shirts from Old Navy ($4 each which was a smokin' deal), five sugared-up children, ward choir practice, and a wonderful Sacrament Meeting? Easter Sunday at the Gooch home. Actually, the party was yesterday at the Sabin home but the rest was at our crazy place. We had a fun Sunday. The kids woke up at 7:30(which I could have easily done without) and opened their Easter candy and screamed so loud at the cute clothes. I didn't realize that it was all it took to excite my kids! Good to know! All in all, a really B-E-A-utifal day!

Brinton!
This month has been a great month for Brinton! It seems like he has grown up overnight. This month has included Brinton getting his Arrow of Light and moving up to Boy Scouts which he got his scout award at his first court of honor. He excelled in his school State report which he reported on the state of Alabama. He was shocked that his classmates ate not one, but two pecan pies. (Alabama's state nut!) He has gotten straight A's all year and if he pulls all A's this quarter he will get the highest award for the fifth grade! What a great kid!

My sweet Anna!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY 4 YEAR OLD!!!!
Our little Anna had her birthday on the 16th and we asked her where she wanted to go for dinner to which she responded "I want to go to Red Robin with Steve and Lisa!" They are our great friends who are pretty much family to us. Dave asked if we could come too and she said that we were allowed to come! Thanks Anna! We feel so loved! Actually it was such a fun night. We ate and then went home to have Tinkerbell cake and ice cream. As for the gifts, I had purchased some material a couple months ago and asked Lisa if she would make a couple of dress ups for Anna. She loves Snow White and Sleeping Beauty and so she made those for her. She also got a pillow pet and a movie from her brothers and sister. What a fun day! We are so grateful for our little girl who keeps us on our toes every day and who tells me she loves me every morning and night!

Museum Break!!
So it's Spring Break!! Rain, Snow, Rain, Snow and one beautiful day of Spring Break! I felt so sad for my kiddos that their free week was yucky weather that we took a day trip to the Gateway Discovery Kids Museum and let the kids run out their energy. It was a blast to see that the kids were spoiling Eli at every turn allowing him to play with them. Braeden was even a good sport even though he's going to be a TEENAGER!!! We had so much fun! Grandma went with us and we ate lunch at California Pizza Kitchen and saw Uncle Steve when we were done. What a fun way to end the week!
